For this project, the 5th & 6th graders were on a mission to design a shoe inspired by the candy brand of their choice. Students pulled art elements from the original candy wrapper to help them design their shoe. We added a printed brick pattern background using sponges and black paint. Best of all, the students could eat the candy after their project was complete (we needed the wrapper).
