Hold your chins, and take a look at these jaw-dropping artworks done by 7th & 8th Grade artists! ONE SQUARE AT A TIME, students used the grid system to transfer a real photograph of an animal to their own work surface. These artists were so attentive to details such as the direction of fur and value changes! Applause!

5th & 6th Grade - Reflected Animal Portraits
Completely STUNNED by the totally AWESOME reflected animal portraits created by the 5th & 6th Grade artists! This project had students practicing there observation skills and manipulating texture. To get a realistic results, students paid close attention to their animals' specific texture, the direction of fur, shapes of the face/eyes/nose and the changes in value. Top-notch work my artists!
